Inova Energy Group is a Chicago-based, woman-led consulting firm focused on the future of energy and sustainability. Our work centers on energy efficiency programs, decarbonization, renewable energy, sustainability, climate planning, and community resilience.
Since 2014, Inova Energy Group has served clients in public and private sectors with a variety of projects ranging from utility energy program design to stakeholder management, deployment of new technologies, statewide policy analysis, creation of climate action and mitigation plans, trainings, and the development of corporate sustainability strategies.

Our Team
CATALINA LAMADRID
Catalina is the founder and president of Inova Energy Group. She has over 15 years of consulting experience in the sustainability and clean energy sectors. Her expertise focuses on strategic planning, public policy, stakeholder engagement, and program management. Past project work includes development comprehensive energy strategies for U.S. states, design and implementation of energy efficiency programs, engagement of underserved communities, and development of climate action and mitigation plans for cities.
ASHLEY PALLADINO
As Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth, Ashley drives Inova's mission in the market through client and partner engagements and new pursuits. She has been managing energy efficiency programs and solutions since 2008. Ashley has developed and overseen innovative program designs for numerous utilities, working closely with community-based organizations and service providers to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion within the industry, maximize energy investment impacts on communities and consult utilities and partners to achieve these same goals in concert with traditional targets and regulations.
LEAH HINIKER
As a Senior Consultant at Inova, Leah Hiniker specializes in local government sustainability, decarbonization, and electrification. With over 23 years of experience, she has excelled in strategic planning and project management for energy conservation, including Energy and Climate Action Plans, utility and regional funding opportunities, and energy benchmarking programs, and sustainable building design and operation.
SPENCER SATOR
Spencer brings nearly 20 years of expertise in emerging technologies and strategic planning. Throughout his career, he has helped over 100 utilities and other major energy stakeholders identify and accelerate new efficiency and decarbonization opportunities in the marketplace. Mr. Sator is an expert on developing long-term technology adoption roadmaps and in working with diverse stakeholders to most effectively ensure those plans are successfully executed. His areas of expertise include electrified transportation planning, building decarbonization, demand management technologies, distributed energy resources, and efficiency pilot development.
JANE ANDERSON
Jane is an urban planner with five years of multi-family affordable housing development and community and stakeholder engagement experience. She supports Inova’s projects by providing project management, crafting and implementing community outreach strategies, building partnerships, and participating in the design of clean energy residential single-family and multi-family programs.
KATIE FALK
As Vice President of Marketing and Engagement, Katie leads overall brand strategy, product development support, client engagement, and program marketing for Inova. Bringing over 20 years of marketing and communications experience, she is known for her creativity and results. Katie specializes in trade ally management and has led marketing efforts for residential demand-side management, demand response, and workforce development programs.
ZOE KNAUS
Zoe comes to Inova with extensive experience in fostering renewable energy project development across the Midwest as well as facilitating community and stakeholder engagement on land use planning strategies in New York City. As a consultant at Inova, she provides support in project development and implementation, policy analysis, and community outreach for state-wide energy efficiency efforts.
